nothing feeds my inner eye as much as everyday color. when i see a pleasing or unusual set of colors employed by those who manufacture the day-to-day goods we use, i stop and say a little thank-you. i doubt that the folks on the line who are doing the actual manufacturing have very much to say about what kinds of colors are being used in production. it would seem that the places that make thread and things like that would at least get a variety of colors to work on, even if they weren't fond of all of them. i rode along with my neighbor to the fabric store last week. i'm a sewing illiterate, but i did find some nice eye candy!
I am right there with you, Chris. I'm a regular magpie when it comes to bright colors and shiny bits. One of the hazards of being a knitter is that it is so pleasurable to just plain collect beautiful fibers. In fact, I highly recommend knitting as a legitimate excuse to fondle different colored yarns.
And yes indeed! GO TIGERS! I was disappointed with last night's game but hopes are up for game four!

Oh, yes, I love to just stand in the yarn aisle at the craft store. I always say I'm just looking, but almost always have to buy one.
Just this evening, my MisterDOF said that the yarn and crochet thread stash behind the couch needs to be thinned down.
There is just soo much potential!
