our first-born son is a man of many moods. he got some terrifc news on his LSATs last weekend and i just happened to be in the right place at the right time. i wonder where this new road will take him, i know there's a myriad of ways he could go. i wonder when or if he will have to cut his hair ... that hasn't seen a scissors since the carter administration. all these mother questions ... having a place to put them is just one more valuable service offered by the blog.
I've said it before, but I still think you have the most interesting kids. I hope he doesn't cut the hair too soon.

Celebrating out sons! He actually looks a lot like my youngest son. Both my sons had long hair for a long time and then cut it off. I was the one who was sad to see it go!

Long, curly hippie hair is always hot to me. I was sad when my husband cut his to "go corporate." Thanks for the visit to my blog. I'm positive I'll be back at yours.

One day your son will cut his hair but for now he looks like a bright and beautiful young man.

I just came across your blog and read your profile. We have a lot in common. My husband is also an academic with a Phd in Physics (yuck, I hate it) We are polar opposites. We have been happily married for 21 years, have five children that I gave birth to and we are currently starting on a journey towards international adoption. I will be back to visit you again.
